Estimated to be born November 29, 2018, he’s 57% American Bully, 43% German Shepherd — and 100% my heart.
He’s incredibly smart, fiercely loyal, and the goofiest boy you’ll ever meet. He keeps me laughing, keeps me humble, and challenges me to be better every single day.
North isn’t just my dog — he’s my best friend, my greatest teacher, and the reason True North K9 exists. 🐾✨
Where True North Began!
North came home with me on September 23, 2021 from the Franklin County Dog Shelter — and I had no idea what I was doing.
As a first-time dog owner, I felt overwhelmed and unsure. Working with a trainer opened my eyes to what was possible, and somewhere along the way, I fell in love with the process.
True North K9 was built from that journey. 🐾
A Little About Me!
I’m 25 years old, and my journey didn’t start in dog training — it started as an EMT. Serving people in high-pressure moments taught me patience, empathy, and how to stay steady when things feel overwhelming.
But somewhere along the way, I found my true calling in dog training. I became certified through Animal Behavior College in January 2023, and what began as a passion quickly became a purpose.
In January 2026, I officially launched True North K9 — built on understanding, communication, and empowering owners to truly connect with their dogs. 🐾✨
